UBS Wealth Management Americas hired 11 advisors with $1.2 billion in AUM. The largest team included six Morgan Stanley Smith Barney advisors in Washington, D.C. including David Andreadis, Karen Ben-Shlaush, Richard Haskin, Frederick Schultz, Lloyd Seested and Eric Teichberg. Together, they oversaw $659 million in client assets.

Benjamin F. Edwards & Co. Hired hired five Wells Fargo Advisors veterans in its new Red Bank, N.J. office. Top members of that team include Todd C. Leonhardt, who will serve as branch manager and was formerly a complex manager at Wells Fargo; Michael J. Doherty, a former Wells Fargo branch manager; and James W. Ireland, financial consultant.

Wells Fargo hired four advisors overseeing about $568 million in assets in Michigan. In Northville, Daniel Murphy and Gregory Wright joined from UBS. In Ann Arbor, Neil Weissman and Ronald Eppler came from Telemus Investment Brokers LLC.

Bank of America Merrill Lynch hired seven new advisors with about $813 million in AUM. In Walnut Creek, Calif., Tony Murphy and Lewis Mathews joined from Wells Fargo, where they had $342.32 million in AUM. In Harrisburg, Pa., Bernard Orbach, Erik Vatter and Matthew Groff joined from MSSB, where they had $225.71 million in AUM.
