Wells Fargo Advisors hired three new financial advisor teams this month who previously oversaw a total of $728 million in client assets.
Wells Fargo has hired a four-member team from UBS to serve in dual offices in Grosse Point Woods, Mich. and Scottsdale, Ariz. The team includes Christopher Zich, Kenneth Fruehauf, Thomas Buhl and Keeland Howe. Together, they previously oversaw $424 million in client assets and had $4 million in annual fees and commissions. They report to Michigan branch manager Douglas Wood and Arizona branch manager Robert Burghart.
Also joining Wells Fargo in Port Richey, Fla. is a two-member Morgan Stanley Smith Barney advisor team. That team, including Avery Wilkins and Michael Cox, previously had $84 million in client assets under management and $738,000 in fees and commissions. They report to branch manager Chris Facka.
Wells Fargo also hired UBS financial advisor Matthew Montini to its Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network independent channel, or FINET. Montini, who is based in San Jose, Calif., previously oversaw $220 million in client assets and generated $1.1 million in annual fees and commissions.
