Regional broker-dealer Waddell & Reed recruited an Edward Jones advisor managing $78 million in assets.
Advisor Brian Armogida, a 17-year industry veteran, had been at Edward Jones since 1996, according to FINRA records. Armogida joined Waddell & Reed in Hamden, Conn.
Waddell & Reed last announced a roundup of recruiting in August, when the firm said it had picked up 11 advisors managing $430 million in assets from wirehouse and regional rivals. The moves occurred over a period of four months.
The Overland Park, Kan., based firm has about 1,800 advisors, and has more than $135 billion in total assets under management as of June 30, according to a company statement.
