UBS Wealth Management Americas has hired two financial advisors from Oppenheimer & Co. to its Boca Raton, Fla. office.
Howard Leon and Anthony Mazzo have been registered with UBS since July 22, according to records from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority. They previously had $1.2 million in fees and commissions and $100 million in assets under management at Oppenheimer. They report to UBS branch manager Michael B. Ludwig.
Leon joined Oppenheimer in 2009, FINRA records show, and has also served at Herbert J. Sims & Co. and Ryan Beck & Co. Mazzo joined Oppenheimer in 2007, after previously working at Wachovia Securities and Raymond James & Associates.
UBS reported on Tuesday that its U.S. financial advisor force grew to a total 6,862 in the second quarter, up from 6,811 in the first quarter.
