Stephens hires 41-year industry veteran as branch manager
Regional wealth management firm Stephens has hired a 41-year industry veteran as its newest branch manager, according to the firm.
Steve Head joined the firm as managing director and branch manager of the Dallas office of the Stephens Private Client Group, Stephens said.
He previously worked at U.S. Capital Advisors, a Texas wealth management firm based in Houston, with additional offices in Dallas and Austin.
Head started his adviser career at Smith Barney in 1972, according to FINRA BrokerCheck records. He later worked at firms such as UBS and Barclays.
Kevin Scanlon, director of the Private Client Group at Stephens, said the firm chose Head for his experience.
"We see significant opportunity in Dallas and under Steve’s direction we will expand our offering in the area and deepen relationships in the community," Scanlon said in a statement.
