BBC Wealth Management announced it hired two financial consultants from Morgan Stanley Smith Barney.
The unit of Royal Bank of Canada announced Wednesday it added Larry VanLaningham and Kevin Morrice to its Portland, Ore., office. Both will report to Richard Sorenson, the complex director for RBC Wealth in Portland.
Both VanLaningham and Morrice worked for Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, and both have been in the industry for more than 20 years. They have combined assets under management of $200 million, and a combined production of $1.1 million.
In the United States, RBC Wealth operates as a division of RBC Capital Markets Corp. RBC Wealth has over $160 billion of assets under administration and more than 2,200 financial consultants operating in over 200 locations in 42 states.
