Raymond James continues its recruiting bonanza, announcing the recruitment of an advisor-team from Morgan Stanley with more than $1.3 million in production. The move marks the seventh major grab by Raymond James in the past three weeks.

The Boggs Huffman Wealth Management Group, comprised of advisors David Huffman and Aimee Boggs, will join Raymond James’ office in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla. The team managed more than $180 million in client assets while at Morgan Stanley.

“David and Aimee’s decision to join our firm is a testament to our ability to attract some of the best in the business,” said Ira Federer, division director, in a statement. “We are thrilled they chose Raymond James to support their practice and clients.”

Huffman started his career in financial services in 2001 at Edward Jones, and later joined A.G. Edwards in 2004 as vice president and branch manager.  He moved in 2007 to Morgan Stanley, where he was a vice president of wealth management and branch manager.  Huffman is a graduate of Ferris State University.

Boggs worked at Citigroup Global Markets from 1996 to 2009 as vice president of wealth management, before moving in 2009 to Morgan Stanley where she was a first vice president of wealth management.  She studied in Colorado and France, and is a graduate of the University of North Florida.
