Raymond James Financial has promoted Greg Williams to the new position of senior vice president and managing director of the Private Client Group administration.

In the new position, Williams will work to support the firm’s financial advisors and clients alongside other leaders in Raymond James’ Private Client Group. He will report to Raymond James Chief Operating Officer Chet Helck.

Williams currently serves as chief administrative officer for Raymond James Financial Services, and also serves on the board of directors for that subsidiary of the firm. Williams has served at Raymond James for 17 years.

Financial services holding company Raymond James Financial has three main wholly-owned broker dealers including Raymond James & Associates, Raymond James Financial Services and Raymond James Ltd. Together, those broker dealer businesses have more than 5,400 financial advisors and 2,400 locations in the U.S., Canada and internationally.
