Raymond James has snagged a four-member financial advisor team with $853 million in client assets from Merrill Lynch.
The team includes Harry Wall, Marc Young, Timothy A. Campisano and Brent A. Carlton, who now operate under the name Louisville Capital Advisors out of Louisville, Ky. Together, they previously had $2.7 million in annual fees and commissions.
Wall comes to Raymond James after 26 years at Merrill Lynch, according to his public registration records with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority.
“Our decision to join Raymond James was one made with considerable thought and due diligence,” Wall said in a statement. “We were attracted to the stability and conservatism of the firm as well as the positive attitude of each associate.”
Wall has been named to Barron’s Top 1000 Financial Advisors list for the past three years. He specializes in asset allocation strategies and equity and municipal bond investing.
Young had been registered with Merrill Lynch for almost 14 years, according to his FINRA registration records. He specializes in concentrated stock strategies, financial planning and liability management.
Campisano served at Merrill Lynch for almost 12 years, and serves corporate executives in areas including concentrated stock positions and company stock options.
Carlton also served at Merrill Lynch for almost 12 years, and focuses on corporate executives, health care professionals and retirees.
Also joining Raymond James with the team are registered senior client service associates Diane Sturtzel and Marie Chandler.
The moves from Merrill Lynch come with news this week that another one of the firm’s veteran advisors also opted to move to the regional market, this time to Janney Montgomery Scott.
