Paulson Wealth Advisors, a Portland, Ore., division of Paulson Investment Co., hired a pair of financial advisors to join the newly created division.

Industry veterans, Brent Norman and Erik Lawrence, formerly with UBS, will work with John Noble, a managing director of Paulson Wealth Advisors, in the expansion of Paulson’s investment advisory firm throughout the Pacific Northwest.

Paulson Wealth is the independent investment advisory division of Paulson Investment Co., which is one of the largest independent broker-dealers in the Pacific Northwest.

Trent Davis, the president and chief executive officer of Paulson Investment, said Norman and Lawrence were “hand selected” by Noble to help expand the new unit.

Lawrence, a certified financial planner, began his career as a financial advisor in 2002.

Norman became a financial advisoer in 1982 with Kidder Peabody, a predecessor firm to UBS.
