Pactolus Private Wealth Management, a new firm serving ultra-high net worth clients, has launched and formed a partnership with Dynasty Financial Partners.

Based in McLean, Va., Pactolus targets family clients for services including traditional and alternative asset management, hard asset consulting, trusts, estate planning, philanthropic consulting and business advising.

Pactolus’ team includes Alan Harter, founding and managing director, who most recently served as senior vice president at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney.

With the launch, Pactolus has partnered with Dynasty, a provider of investment and technology platforms. Pactolus also has partnered with Fidelity Institutional Wealth Services, which will serve as a custodian for Pactolus and Dynasty.

Pactolus also has an office in Manhattan.
