Nomura Securities International Inc. said on Monday that it hired Pascal Bandelier and Paul Sangimino as co-heads of U.S. cash equities in New York.
Bandelier, who will run cash equities trading and trade the technology sector, joined from Barclays Capital. At Barclays, he oversaw trading for technology, media and telecommunications stocks.
At Nomura, Bandelier will be responsible for market making in all US common stocks, risk management, and the customer-facing team of sector specialists.
Sangimino, who will manage cash equities sales trading as well as cover institutional investors, joined from Citigroup, where he was head of US cash equity trading. Prior to that, Paul worked on the Lehman Brothers equities trading desk.
