Morgan Stanley Smith Barney announced it hires two advisors from Wells Fargo Advisors.
The hirings were announced Thursday.
Howard Horowitz and Ian Dietz will join Morgan Stanley's office in New York. Both worked for the Wells Fargo unit for six years, according to the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, where they managed $250 million of client assets.and generated $1.5 million in annual fees and commissions.
On Wednesday, Morgan Stanley Smith Barney announced that it promoted Rick Donovan to complex manager in Paramus, N.J. He was previously a manager of the company's Red Bank, N.J., branch.
Donovan, who replaced Mike Price who left the firm, will oversee four branches with 162 advisers and $100 million in revenue
He replaces Mike Price who has left the firm.
