Morgan Stanley Smith Barney has snapped up two financial advisors from Credit Suisse and Merrill Lynch who previously had $575 million in client assets under management.
In Tampa, Fla., Bryce Kenny joins from Credit Suisse, where he oversaw $475 million in client assets and had $2.6 million in annual fees and commissions. Kenny has been registered with Morgan Stanley since March 16, his public registration records with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority show. He comes to Morgan Stanley after eight years at Credit Suisse. Kenny reports to Tampa Bay Complex Manager Dan Cedro.
In New York, Thomas A. DeRosa joins Morgan Stanley’s 31 West 52 Street office from Merrill Lynch. He previously had $100 million in client assets under management and $1.27 million in annual production. DeRosa has been registered with Morgan Stanley since March 16, according to his FINRA registration records, following ten years at Merrill Lynch. He reports to Complex Manager Gerald Ferrante.
