Merrill Lynch picked up an advisor from Wells Fargo who managed more than $150 million in client assets, a spokeswoman said.
Advisor Jin Park joined Merrill in Henderson, Nev., which is part of the greater Las Vegas metropolitan area. He reports to Resident Director Paul Biafore and Market Executive Michael Casey.
Park said in a statement that he joined Merrill because of the breadth of its capabilities.
Park, who has 16 years of industry experience, had worked at Wells Fargo since 2011, according to FINRA BrokerCheck records. He previously worked at Jeffries & Company.
Merrill last announced new recruits in August. Among those hires were three advisors from Morgan Stanley who managed $248 million in client assets.
The team, led by advisor Hyeon Kang, joined Merrill in Bellevue, Wash., a suburb of Seattle. They report to Market Executive Anthony DiBlasi.
