Janney Montgomery Scott has tapped Wells Fargo Advisors and Morgan Stanley Smith Barney for the hiring of two financial advisors.
In Norwell, Mass., Michael Ewanouski joins from Wells Fargo Advisors, where he previously oversaw $79 million in client assets and had $795,000 in annual fees and commissions.
Ewanouski has been registered with Janney since Jan. 12, according to his public registration records with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority. He had been with Wells Fargo for more than 12 years after joining the firm in 1999, FINRA records show, and also previously served at First Union Capital Markets and PaineWebber.
In Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., Thomas Arvanites joins from Morgan Stanley Smith Barney. He previously had $97 million in client assets under management and more than $524,000 in annual fees and commissions.
Arvanites has been registered with Janney since Jan. 19, his public registration records with FINRA show. Prior to that, he became registered with Morgan Stanley in 2009, and joined Citigroup Global Markets in 1994. Arvanites also previously served at Prudential Securities and J.B. Hanauer & Co.
