Janney Montgomery Scott has hired Thomas Graham as a senior vice president of wealth management in its Washington, D.C. branch.

Graham, who worked at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney for nearly 20 years, brings more than $150 million in client assets to the Philadelphia-based full-service regional financial services firm

"Tom is a highly regarded advisor in the Washington area and is a valued addition to the Janney team," said Jerry Lombard, president of Janney’s private client group. "Over the course of his career, he has built a strong practice by focusing on and meeting the needs of his clients, and I'm pleased that Tom sees Janney as the best firm to enable him to continue to build on that solid foundation moving forward."

Graham’s hiring marks the 15th advisor to join Janney since the beginning of this year.

"Joining Janney was an easy decision. The firm offers many attractive features--an impressive history of stability, a conservative operating philosophy, outstanding support resources and an experienced management team." Graham said. "But above all else, we share an exemplary focus on the advisor-client relationship. I look forward to starting this next chapter in my career here and am confident that my clients will benefit from all that Janney offers."
