Janney Montgomery Scott has hired Vincent Crognale, an 18-year industry veteran, to the firm’s Greenville, Del., branch office as first vice president of wealth management.

Crognale joins Janney from Morgan Stanley where he spent the past 13 years, and will be joined by private client assistant Deborah Carlton.

“With close to two decades of financial services experience under his belt, Vince is highly regarded in the industry,” said Tom Simcik, Janney’s Mid-Atlantic regional manager, in a statement. “He shares Janney’s exemplary focus on the advisor-client relationship by constantly keeping clients’ needs in the front of our minds. I am confident that his clients will benefit from all that Janney offers.”

Crognale received a bachelor’s degree in management with a concentration in marketing and labor relations from Widener University. He also holds a master’s degree in finance with a concentration in investments from Drexel University.
