Baird has recruited two wirehouse advisors from UBS and Morgan Stanley.

Former UBS advisor Eric Pronovost took a branch manager and senior vice president position at Baird's office in Portland, Maine, according to statements from the firm. Before joining UBS in 2007, Pronovost worked for McDonald Investments, Prudential Securities, Smith Barney and Lehman Brothers, according to FINRA's BrokerCheck.

Robert Gorman left his post at Morgan Stanley for Baird's office in Columbus, Ohio, with $210 million in assets under management and an annual revenue production of nearly $1 million, the firm says. Before his time at Morgan Stanley, Gorman spent several years at Citigroup Global Markets, Lehman Brothers and Prudential-Bache Securities, according to BrokerCheck records.

Baird recently hired a veteran UBS complex director to head the firm's Minnetonka, Minn., wealth management office as a senior vice president and branch manager.
