Sean Curley, a 20-year financial services veteran, was named senior vice president and product specialist at Genworth Financial Asset Management where he'll be responsible for supporting financial advisors and providing strategic leadership to the firm's investment management group.

Curley, who most recently served as a portfolio specialist at Hartford Investment Management Company, has held a variety of positions throughout his career at firms including NatWest USA, Lehman Brothers and Nomura Securities International.

"Sean Curley is a perfect fit for the GFAM team and we are delighted to have him on board," Tim Knepp, Genworth Financial Asset Management's chief investment officer, said in a statement. "His demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with advisors will be a tremendous resource."

"Sean is uniquely qualified to further help GFAM’s advisor base understand and effectively utilize our risk-managed portfolio solutions," he added.

Curley received his Bachelor of Arts in economics from the University of Virginia, and an M.B.A. in finance from The Stern School of Business at New York University.  He is also a chartered financial analyst (CFA).
