Citi Private Bank hired Lisa Maurer as its new family office group director for the Northeast region.

Company officials said Maurer will partner with Citi Private Bank regional executives and private bankers to provide comprehensive investments services to family offices. She will report to Stephen Campbell, head of the firm’s North America Family Office Group in New York City.

“Lisa has a deep understanding of the needs of family offices, having led a family office for over 10 years,” Campbell said in a statement. “She is an experienced wealth management and family office professional who has spent the better part of her career assisting clients with the full range of wealth management issues, including asset allocation, investment policy design, investment management, portfolio analysis, cash flow management and family education.

Before taking the director position, Maurer led a family office for 10 years as president and previously served as an investment analyst at Hascoe Associates in Greenwich, Conn.

“I am thrilled to be joining a firm that is so dedicated to delivering strong thought leadership and sophisticated investment capabilities to Family Offices throughout North America,” she said in statement.

Last month, Citi Private Bank hired former JPMorgan executive and private banker Stephen Baird as the director of its Houston branch where he’ll provide private banking services to ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families.
