Cantor Fitzgerald named Jeffrey Lumby as its head of equity capital markets where he’ll be continue to oversee the firm’s Controlled Equity Offering product as well as a variety of equity linked origination and execution responsibilities on behalf of the firm’s clients.

Lumby, who joined Cantor in 2001, most recently served as a senior managing director with responsibility for the firm's CEO product and Cantor's at-the-market structure that allows public companies to access the equity capital markets efficiently and cost-effectively.

“Jeff's expanded role is a testament to his commitment to delivering value for our clients and success in leading our at-the-market business. This appointment reflects his proven ability throughout his tenure at Cantor Fitzgerald to provide insights and successfully execute each client's unique needs and requirements,” Howard Lutnick, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Cantor Fitzgerald, L.P., said in a statement.

Company officials said that through Cantor's proprietary ATM equity issuance program, Lumby and his team have put over 100 at-the-market offerings in place with a value in excess of $14 billion.

In addition to Lumby's appointment, Joshua R. Feldman has been promoted to managing director and will continue to focus on Cantor's CEO product and other capital markets transactions.
