Financial services firm Baird has tapped Morgan Stanley Smith Barney’s wealth management talent pool for four new advisor appointments to its offices in North Carolina and South Carolina.
In Charlotte, Baird has named James A. Perryman to serve as senior vice president and financial advisor. Perryman previously served as investment advisor at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney.
In Charleston, Baird has added Conrad Zimmerman, John A. Warren and Gray Coulton to its wealth management office as financial advisors. The firm also added Linda Slade to its team as a registered client relationship associate.
Zimmerman previously served as a financial advisor at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney and Robinson Humphrey.
Warren most recently served as a financial advisor at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, and has also held management positions at Tidewater Inc., a company providing marine support services to the offshore energy industry.
Coulton also served as a financial advisor at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, and has also held positions focusing on due diligence and M&A transactions with management consulting firms.
Since the beginning of 2009, Baird has added a total of 173 financial advisors and branch managers to its private wealth management group. In addition to its wealth management business, Baird also has asset management, capital markets and private equity operations. The firm has offices in the United States, Europe and Asia.
