Three advisors who oversaw more than $340 million in AUM have joined Ameriprise, a spokesman says.
In the largest of the three moves, advisor Kenton McMahon left Wells Fargo to join Ameriprise's employee channel in Dublin, Ohio, a suburb of Columbus. While at the wirehouse, McMahon managed $161 million in client assets.
McMahon started his advisory career in 1988 with A.G. Edwards, according to BrokerCheck. He stayed with the firm through its merger with Wells Fargo.
Derrick Wells moved to Ameriprise's independent channel from Edward Jones, where he had $103 million in AUM. Wells, who is based in Mount Vernon, Ind., had been with Edward Jones since 1999.
Advisor Brian McDaid left Securities America to joined Ameriprise's independent channel. McDaid is based in Montvale, N.J., a suburb of New York.
While at Securities America, McDaid managed $79 million in client assets. The 25-year industry veteran had been with the firm for twelve years.
