The Brandenberger Group, comprised of financial advisors Robert Brandenberger and his son William Brandenberger, joins RBC from Southwest Securities where they managed a combined $225 million in assets, the firm says. The team is now at RBC's office in Austin, Texas.

Robert Brandenberger got his start in the financial services industry at Underwood, Neuhaus and Co. in 1969, according to FINRA's BrokerCheck. Prior to joining Southwest Securities in 2009, Robert worked for Citigroup, Morgan Stanley and UBS. Before that he spent several years with Dain Rauschner, which was later acquired by RBC in 2000.

William has worked alongside his father since the firm was moved to UBS in 2000, according to BrokerCheck.

Irving Reyna joins the team in their move to RBC as an investment associate, the firm says.
